Gotta Make It: Flower Pot Placecard October 12, 2007

“Never throughout history has a man who lived a life of ease left a name worth remembering.”  – Theodore Roosevelt

It’s Friday and its time to have those friends and family over for a good ‘ole hearty meal!  For a quick and colorful setting consider using a piece of your favorite scrapbook paper as the placemat.  Then top it with some of your favorite dishes.  The red square plate is one of my favorite dishes and was found at TJ Maxx…gotta love that place!  The green flower plate was found at my other favorite shopping spot – Target.  Since this was last minute ( I wouldn’t do it any other way) I looked around the house to find the supplies for the place card.  I cut out a flower from some scrapbook paper, stuck a pin through it and put it into the mini pot and voila!  You have a quick and easy place setting that cost you so little!

Enjoy your family and friends this weekend and let those creative juices flow!

Your place setting looks fantastic! What a wonderful idea to use your favorite scapbook paper as a placemat. That’s what setting a table is about – – – putting YOUR creative stamp on it. Target, HomeGoods, TJMaxx are all great places to find tableware at affordable prices. Yes, I have fine china, but I mix and match all the time. Wedgwood & Wal-Mart look great on my table when I put it all together. *smile*.

Have a great meal with your friends and family and thanks for the link in!

    “Cheers to the well-dressed table”
